Sweeper dan navigator itu istilah yang sering dipake di dunia pendakian. Sweeper itu biasanya orang yang jalan di belakang sekali untuk memastikan semua anggota tim aman dan nggak ada yang tertinggal. Navigator, tentu aja, itu yang ngarahin jalan di depan.

Kalo sweeper maju mendahului navigator, itu bisa jadi tanda ada masalah. Bisa jadi ada anggota tim yang sakit, cedera, atau ada hal lain yang butuh perhatian cepat. Atau bisa jadi jalur yang dipilih navigator itu salah atau berbahaya, jadi sweeper harus maju untuk ngasih tahu.

Gue pernah ngalamin kejadian serupa waktu pendakian gunung Rinjani. Tim gue lagi asik-asiknya jalan, eh tiba-tiba sweeper maju cepet banget ke depan. Ternyata ada salah satu temen yang kram kaki dan butuh bantuan. Sweeper langsung ngambil alih situasi, ngasih pertolongan pertama, dan ngatur strategi gimana caranya bawa temen gue turun dengan aman. Itu momen yang cukup tegang sih, tapi untungnya semua beres dan kita bisa lanjut pendakian dengan hati-hati.
