I’m running for Congress because I’ve lived on both sides of the system, and I know it’s not working for everyday people.

I’m a doctor, small business owner, mother, and community servant. I’ve built practices, created jobs, provided healthcare, and served families long before I ever asked for a vote. I don’t just talk policy—I’ve lived the consequences of bad ones.

My platform is simple and people-centered:
✔️ Affordable healthcare that actually covers people
✔️ Lower prescription drug costs
✔️ Stronger public education & HBCU support
✔️ Economic opportunity for small businesses
✔️ Protecting our seniors, children, and working families
✔️ Clean air, clean water, and safe communities

Everything I do is rooted in faith. The Bible tells us exactly what leadership looks like:
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves… defend the rights of the poor and needy.” — Proverbs 31:8-9

I give God all the glory. My purpose is service. My assignment is impact. And my promise is that I will never forget who I’m fighting for.

We don’t need another career politician.
We need a voice.
We need action.
We need change.

I am truly honored and humbled to receive the Excellence in Healthcare Access Advocacy Award from GSA Global Eye Magazine, surrounded by members of Congress and global leaders who are redefining what real service looks like.

This recognition isn’t just about a title, it’s about the work. Decades of serving my community, creating jobs, and fighting for equitable healthcare access. Leadership requires courage. It requires speaking up when others stay silent , and I will not sit quietly while families struggle.

People are sick of the same status quo. I’ve lived life on both sides of the system, and that’s exactly why I’m running for Congress. When I’m in Congress, I’ll be a voice for affordability, accessible healthcare, strong public education and HBCUs, mental health resources, veterans, and small businesses , not special interests.

Special thanks to Dr. Vijay G. Prabhakar, Congressman Jonathan Jackson, and Ty Spears for your leadership, your support, and for believing in me and this mission.

The way things have been going recently in this country, I’ve been listening to “U Will Know” by Black Men United. It features a host of incredibly talented Black singers from our culture, and the message is both powerful and timely.

What makes this even more impactful today is knowing it was written and produced by D’Angelo, who we sadly lost today. This has always been one of my favorite songs that he created, and I want to honor him by sharing this anthem of Black unity and brotherhood in this moment.

Rest in peace D’Angelo, a true Black icon. 🕊️
