It’s strange and beautiful to realise that you can be simultaneously proud of how far you have come and aware that you have barely scratched the surface of who you could become.
I have this unwavering faith in God for a limitless amount of reasons. Everything I said I would do I have done, so it means everything I say I will do will come to pass but even better. Because He always does exceedingly and abundantly.
I know, with increasing precision, what I want my life to contain. Meaningful work. Financial ease. A home that feels expansive and alive. Books everywhere. A table with people around it. Work that travels further than I do. Time to think. Time to write.
the nastiness and wickedness of the internet is actually beyond me. losing your father in your 20s, having to step up and assume that role and two years is too long to grieve? goodness
I think people forget they’re speaking about real life people? Like actual human beings? people that will see and read what’s being said WHILE they are processing their grief, heartbreak etc.
Anyway, learning to leave people where they are has been amazing. I don't want to understand why you're being that way. You're no longer a monkey in my circus.
I'm about starting this book because I saw a tiktok about the relationship between Laila and Tariq and it was so cute.
I'm sure this book is just some nice lighthearted romance 😊
