@saucywayne While I don’t endorse social media use for 1 year olds- I have to say this is evidence I have a Doogie Howser on my hands. He’s showing signs of emergent media literacy skills and has clearly developed a new language. #proudmom 😂
@Ms__Hewitt@LarkhallAcademy@therobinsonread @StringerCBRH Everytime I see a post of yours, you bring me back to my first years teaching. I am so proud of you and happy I get to follow your journey via social media!
@modern_mikmaq I just randomly came Upton this tweet as it was retweeted by someone and I knew your eyes immediately!
I know the fire behind those eyes and it is strong enough to fight any disease. Take care of yourself and happy new year to you and your family xo
The new year will not erase the need for critical conversations around equity and anti-racist education. Here are recommendations for setting up courageous conversations in the new year, with discussions among colleagues as the first step.

@rhymestj @Catlin_Tucker@LBPDistance I have been following her blog for forever now! She has a wealth of knowledge and always presents it so well! Whenever I present at a workshop or to future teachers, I tell them to follow her 🙂
What an incredible opportunity this foundation provides for PhD students at the beginning of their research. This #leadership journey would be a dream come true!
Yes!!! @MichaelFullan1 "...the new set of crises is forcing humankind to reconsider its relationship to each other and to the planet and universe [and] ... make it essential that we proactively change the world through learning"
@cormin@AnthonyGermain I agree completely, but with some insight to this particular community, I know of one more confirmed case as of this morning. I really hope the spread stops here and everyone can go back to normal. As a teacher, I completely understand the importance of kids being in school :)
@cormin@AnthonyGermain Not pointing blame- just saying I can see why parents are being extra cautious. Also, considering their is one hospital for the entire west coast, again, I understand being extra cautious in this situation.
@cormin@AnthonyGermain It's not exactly the interaction with the kids moreso than the community interactions. I just spent a month there and while people wear masks in stores, there are many gatherings where masks aren't worn and stores where employees weren't wearing masks.
@cormin@AnthonyGermain Perhaps, but in a small town like this, people often know who's been in contact with who - and so I can understand parents wanting to take charge while more people get tested.
@jfrobergeQc FEAS une compagnie quebecoise à developpé un purificateur d'air portable spécialement conçu pour les classes non ventilées. Ceci est une solution pour nos écoles!
