Future exserving persons (veterans) will be worse off than veterans are now. If our heroes are dying at 3 per f/n, it makes sense that it will get worse. @mattkeogh is misleading all of us with his lazy bill. His rhetoric is more than spin, it's lies. Don't enlist, don't. ๐๐
Summer's almost here, and cool drinks are the flavour of the season. We're lucky to have a fridge stocked with some of the best Aussie-made drinks available. The sparking water by @wallabywater is one of our faves in warmer weather. After all, life's always more fun with bubbles.
What a wonderful idea. I know the founder of the Veteran Sandbox, and I'm so proud of her. Please give her a follow. Her initiative is all about letting veterans know that we care. How many are saved is the statistic we want to see grow. ๐๐
Thank you so much, @julieannfinny2, for your incredible support & kind words! ๐ Your encouragement means the world, & together we can amplify the message that veterans deserve our care & compassion. Hereโs to growing that life-saving statistic. ๐ #VeteranSupport#VeteranSandbox

Dear Australia Post,
I have reached out to you numerous times about an initiative that could profoundly impact the lives of our homeless veterans, yet I have not received a response. It's with a heavy heart that I now turn to public support to make this happen.
Introducing the **Veteran Digital Address** initiativeโa simple yet powerful solution to help homeless veterans stay connected and access essential services. This initiative proposes a digital ID card, much like the MyPost Concession Card, that would provide veterans with a secure way to receive mail and a virtual address based on their location.
For too long, the missing link in working with homeless veterans has been a stable "address." In a world where access to information and services is often tied to a physical location, our veterans are left vulnerable and disconnected. By adopting this initiative, Australia Post can help bridge this gap, restoring dignity, stability, and hope for those who have already given so much for our country.
I urge Australia Post to consider this initiative and work with us to make it a reality. Our veterans deserve nothing less, and it's time we stand together to ensure they receive the support they need.
Please join me in advocating for the **Veteran Digital Address** and help us provide the missing link that could change lives.

For those weโve lost to the silent battle, I honour you with these words:
The Silent Battle
They served with pride, their duty clear,
Yet some were lost to battles near.
Not on fields, but in their mind,
We honour the peace they could not find.

@AusFedPolice@ASDGovAu@CyberGovAU@Qantas@abcnews@SBSNews@AlboMP Devastated to share my sister's struggle with @Qantas as she fights to change a flight home to our dying mum. Exhausted and overwhelmed, she fell prey to unscrupulous scammers impersonating customer service. #Qantas, it's time to rectify this grave issue and protect your customers from such scams. Awareness must be raised! #ScamAlert #CustomerServiceFailure
On Friday l had a terrible day dealing with DVA, who flouted my โdo not callโ note on file.
When I feel powerless, I write.
Promises is my latest work in progress, about the very poor conduct of @DVAAus
Hope you enjoy it, and maybe now I can sleep.
Peace out x๐ฃ
Is it me, or is a bit of history repeating its self with #BritneyHiggens and #PennyEastonaffair ?
Politicians and flouting the law, what next more โI do not recollectโ ?

A powerful poem about the defence chief's call for top officers from the Afghanistan conflict to surrender their medals. Sparking outrage & raises important questions about how we honor those who serve our country. #breretonReport
