Here's my question: is Lex lying too Superman's face for the sake of the camera, cause his girlfriend is recording, or is he being truthful and this is the first time these two have met face to face?

@corenswet evening Mr. Cornswet, big fan, just had a quick question I was wondering if you could weigh in on. In Superman, the titular character storms into Lex's office. Lex makes a comment, something like "ah Superman, we finally meet."

My friend argues that Lex is lying for the sake of the camera, but Superman doesn't bother to correct him or claim him a liar. Sure maybe in the heat of the moment he didn't think too, but I don't know. Could you tell us who's right, or are we both wrong?

@JamesGunn Good evening Mr. Gunn, we're big fans. A friend and I were making the definitive 'haters tier list' for the greatest haters in human history, fictional or otherwise. Naturally the version of Lex Luthor in Superman (2025) came up. Can you please settle a debate for us?

When Supes confronts Lex about Krypto, Lex remarks "Superman, we finally meet". Please correct us if we're missing something, but I thought that meant this was the first time Lex had met Supes and he had done all of this crazy planning without ever having even spoken to him.
