For those wondering -- the NCAA can't overturn Michigan's win. Full explanation inside, but here's the short of it -- once referees declare a game over, it's over and can't be reviewed or changed.

@franfraschilla There is no way to overturn a game once the officials declare it over. That's why the Colorado Fifth Down result stood or CMU a decade ago when they were incorrectly given an untimed down.
This result will stand, no matter what.
@BuffaloKL The Bill should have never lost that Jets game, but FYI the NFL fined a Jets player later that week for an illegal blindside block on the game-winning punt return. It wasn't called.
@SBUnfurled@kcapp11@UnfurledBracket This is EXACTLY it. Sucks that mid-majors to need to throw a perfect game while just existing in a P5 and getting to 17/18 wins is enough for those teams.
@SBUnfurled@kcapp11@UnfurledBracket I agree in theory, I just think the NCAA doesn't want to see any mid majors and they'll cook the books against us. My theory is Bonnies should just schedule however they want. If they want to load up on bad teams in OOC then just do that, and know you might lose to one of them.
@kalli_mariakis This is exactly how we ended up with Dan Carpenter. Rookie Dustin Hopkins got hurt, we needed a replacement ... and Carpenter was lights out that season.
(Fun fact: Dan Carpenter has been out of the NFL for 9 years and is still three years younger than Matt Prater)
@NickVeronica Beane's point stands though. The Bills were bold in their approach and it worked, they had one of the best passing offenses last year.
I haven't listened to WGR in some time, but I remember them being very consistently wrong in the arguments they pushed the most heavily.
