I don't think public discussion around AI is remotely serious enough.
Everything is going to change about everything. Why aren't we talking about this every single day?
@kirkneverdied And that's why I follow you and Cody Leach, not just to hear your thoughts on the films that everyone has heard of, but to also hear about what else caught your attention. So, thank you for that. Carolina Caroline was a treat. I loved it.
@kirkneverdied watching Carolina Caroline right now after seeing your video on June movies. Expecting to like it a lot after finding out it's by the same director who did Dinner in America
I tend to be conspiratorially conservative but even I have to admit…
There’s something happening here
but what it is ain’t exactly clear
There’s a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware,
I think it’s time we stop, children what’s that sound?
Everybody look what’s going down
There’s Army veteran turned Isis supporter Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who lived in Houston but was visiting New Orleans, who is is an Islamic convert, plowing a truck with an Islamic State flag into a New Orleans crowd.
†here’s the Army green beret on active duty, Matthew Alan Livelsberger, who apparently shoots himself in the head just after detonating explosive devices in his fireworks filled Tesla Cybertruck parked in front of Trump’s Las Vegas hotel. Both used the same car rental company, had ties to Fort Bragg, and were Army specialists.
There’s Ryan Routh, the golf course sniper with ties to Ft. Bragg (along with Jabbar and Livelsbeerger), was a soldier for hire who had links to…
Thomas Crooks, the would-be Trump assassin who somehow managed to walk around a supposedly secure location carrying a ladder he used to climb up on the roof of a supposedly secure building while onlookers pointed him out to the FBI, who did little to stop him. And he and Routh both appeared in commercials for the private military company Blackrock.
I know, I’m sounding like a crazy conspiracist, but it really does seem like there’s something happening here…
Ask ten people what “fairness” means and you can get eleven different definitions. Expecting government to promote “fairness” is just giving politicians more arbitrary power.
@kirkneverdied would you consider doing a video series about the best year for movies from each decade in which you've been alive? Bet it would draw a lot of interest and interaction
@ChadCalek I wonder if you've seen this video which sounds like a real encounter with the Hollywood vampires you've talked about before. This young man who made this video also has a part 2 in which he reveals he has proof that his story is true https://t.co/pyjI0Dp7UN
The AI companies see copyright law, and the idea that workers should be compensated for creating the materials they train their models on, as their biggest threats. They have a plan to steamroll both:

I first heard this from @morganhousel, who I think first heard it from someone else:
"If you want to be super rich, find people who want to be lied to and lie to them."
