@MarvinMediocre@thejerryproctor Muslims and Jews and hundreds of Christian denominations use the same book and can’t even come close to agreeing on morality.
You lose.
It’s a dumb position
@JSkeleton92@TrnkMnkyMedia@Drift0r I have close friends who have killed many people. They’re serial killers. They did it as a job as a soldier. We judge the action based on the subjective scenario. That context matters.
@DanCongerAuthor @DrStevenJLawson First, this was judgment against wicked people (Gen 15:16).
Second, his command was to rid these people from the land. The Israelites were not told to pursue them if they left.
Third, the fact that they took the wives and children (Num 31), demonstrates this was not genocide.
@natesims07@TrnkMnkyMedia@Drift0r The Bible condemns any kind of abusive slavery whatsoever. You're looking through the lens of American slavery. There was a kind of slavery where people merely lived with & worked for someone of higher prestige & in return their families were fed, clothed, sheltered, taken care of
@JSkeleton92@TrnkMnkyMedia@Drift0r If something is objective, context doesn’t matter. If context matters, it’s subjective.
That’s why people make fun of you.
