Writer, actor, single dad, fierce ally. Often wrong, learning every day. Be better than we have to. When your arms get tired? Swing harder. | #OneLessLonely
Hair growing back, even over the scars.
Gone from wheelchair to walker to crutches to walking to running and lifting again.
Writing my own resurrection arc, one day at a time.
Still looking for my person, but now I'll have a life to share with them.
Don't ever give up. <3
If you're in or around Buffalo, NY and have a VA, acting, or improv background, let's talk. If you're not in the area, let's talk anyway. Online and offline things are rumbling, and I want to know who's out there!
It's a dark, cold December. A lot of people are feeling vulnerable, scared, and angry. There are a million good reasons to be.
That's what makes right now the most important time to come together as friends and allies. Each of us can make one another #OneLessLonely.
Recovery (perpetually) in progress, but I'm finally back on the streets.
Fortunate to have a theatre company interested in giving me a studio and funding for my next project, and some orgs interested in my skill set.
Looking like I'll be on the mic (and stage) again soon.
@assassinscreed The way the nickel and diming in-game store and incremental RPG elements hadn't removed all sense of being one of the Assassins -- instead of feeling like I'm playing an MMORPG on an empty server. I can still remember when I anticipated a new release in the franchise!
@tiltify Monetary gain is valuable, but superficial.
Focus on reaching people with the message.
Raise /hope/.
Someone who donates five bucks moves on.
Someone who internalizes the message changes lives.
@Itsjustwitch A lot of people with no experience are going to say a lot of very nice things out of a place of genuine kindness.
But for me, it meant more to hear it from someone with firsthand experience.
No matter what the call is, you've got /survivor/ in your blood.
Rooting for you.
@snickelsox tips on better lifting with a persistent back injury? i'm making progress, but i'm wondering if you had any insight that doesn't leave me laid flat and popping advil afterward.
@J_Schiecke slowwwwww.
gotta keep up the grindier writing that pays the bills,
and take care of my daughter,
and fit in a hardcore fitness routine,
...and the energy left over after that's all done can be pretty low.
still:
one. word. at. a. time. 💪
cardio: done
lifting: done
lying back on my recliner and celebrating my progress rather than focusing on my hair not grown back in yet, or how far i still have to go: work in progress
the finish line isn't the win. it's every step toward it. i have to remind myself, too.

If you can watch that debate and even contemplate voting for Trump, I've got nothing for you. It doesn't even matter what you think about Kamala Harris at this point. There are drunks wobbling out of any bar down the road that would make better world leaders than Donald.
Christ.
