@twitandrewking As a GIS undergrad at Ryerson (Toronto), there was already post-grad research for water budget calculations in 2002, sans drones. Decent plane based aerial imagery can be manipulated with software to classify surfaces. Google Don River floods to get the sense of money at stake.

7/7 @googlemaps I wish it was easier to submit evidence to reported edits, it would save a lot of time and frustration from trusted 'Local Guides' trying to ensure the right information is posted. I'm not sure what information is being used to reject edits multiple times.
