Criston Cole’s death is the perfect example of what’s gone wrong. They spent so much time building him up as one of the central figures of the war, only to give him an ending that felt rushed and completely underwhelming. Whether you loved him or hated him, he deserved a better and meaningful death

considering the character Cole was developed to be, his death was befitting.

if he had died a glorious death, would’ve been cliché

People are celebrating because they hated Criston Cole.

But if this exact death happened to Daemon or even Aemond, everyone would be calling it terrible writing.

They spent two seasons building Criston into one of the central figures of the Dance, only for him to be taken out by the Blackwoods like an unnamed foot soldier.

Am I the only one who thinks he deserved a better-written death?
