I was an editor on the Kardashian apps in 2015 in LA, worked days nights & weekends, could only afford groceries from the 99 Cents Only Store, called out “sick” more than once bc I couldn’t put gas in my car to get to the office, & was reprimanded for freelancing on the side ❤️
@FatedMates this kind of thread goes around Reddit occasionally, I’d love to see your recommendations in these categories! Maybe a future episode?? https://t.co/AEG3VkoddV
@TMobile my dad is in the hospital. I’m trying to get him a replacement phone so he can feel some sort of connection to family during pandemic, and your support basically told me to go fuck myself. Cannot believe how horrendous your customer service is, esp for a 20 year customer
@iRobot trying to get help with my absolutely useless Roomba, your help center drops every single one of my calls. “Lifetime support” is a joke. Like I honestly feel that this must be a joke, I think you’re laughing at all of us gullible enough to think you’d want to help.
What if I told you that you can go ahead and have pets, have kids, and even use straws without climate guilt--because those are all red herrings to distract you from the fact that the actual #1, unavoidable, absolutely essential thing we need to do is STOP USING FOSSIL FUELS.
@JackHarbon My dad has a notecard in his wallet of my mom’s sizes. Shoe, dress, bra, pants, underwear, ring, everything he can think of, so he can surprise her with the perfect size of whatever gift he’s buying.
@sarahmaclean I think it was basically this list in tweet form! There’s some Twitterspeak and it’s all pre the 280 characters increase. Oh and bonus—it introduced me to @Caro_Linden’s amazing books, and shortly afterwards I ended up in a book club with her!
@sarahmaclean Fun fact! In 2016 I took a list you posted...somewhere (Twitter? IG? No idea) and painstakingly transcribed it all onto an excel doc so I could highlight the ones I’d read. It includes your brief commentary, like “hijinx!” and “BONKERS.” It led to many of my now-favorites!
