Had a wonderful time at @SamlesburyHall listening to Simon Entwistle's amazing stories today. Then had a lovely walk on the beautiful grounds among the enchanting blooms. Who can resist this glorious riot of colour? We probably enjoyed it almost as much as the local bees.

Went to Samlesbury Hall today to listen to the brilliant ghost tour by Simon Entwistle and was thrilled to see such a large enthralled audience, far more than I caputured in the pic! Learned loads including George Washington's connection with Lancashire. #Lancashire #lancs

I'd like to see far more research into #animals and their sensing of human pheromones and adrenaline. Our experience indicates that animals are drawn to us when we are calm/happy. We put this down to them having a sixth sense but perhaps it's their highly evolved noses? #nature
