Newark, 1974 is a short play written by Puerto Rican playwright Victor Fragoso. Fragoso produces his interlude in reflection of the 1974 Puerto Rican riots in the city of Newark, a result of a long history of the disenfranchisement, neglect, and injustice towards the diaspora.
