Here a friend poses as Xochipilli, the Prince of Flowers. The cardboard regalia will become jade, gold, and brilliant feathers in oil, while the studio around him will disappear into a field of flowers.

Here's a tip that's more for myself than anything: remember to work on a base drawing before painting. That makes everything way easier!
