@MillsTwitch@YoungHexied This! I actually really dislike head to head stuff. I play games to get lost in a world/story. Sports games are no different. Instead of getting lost in a narrative, I’m getting lost by crafting my own universe. The more RPG/sandbox elements we can get, the better imo.
@veilsguard I prefer the classic for this game. Shadows is cool and all, but with this art style I feel like classic is a better fit. Gives it that comic book vibe for me.
@Meux2ii@DomTheBomb That would be epic. I love the “choice-based” style of games TellTale does, so I would probably play whatever it is, but Spider-Man would be undeniably awesome lol.
@starpunchsteria Normally I would be completely against this kinda thing, but Telltale Games are quite possibly the perfect medium for this. I can just imagine chatting with some friends about the game after finishing each episode. That in itself would be memorable.
@MillsTwitch Naturally, I haven’t played the game yet, so I could be overreacting ofc . I do like the concept; it just feels unnecessary for that particular function to be removed is all. Perhaps once I play it, I’ll have a better understanding/appreciation for it.
@J6ixGod They’re switching partners this year I believe so these are likely just placeholders. They did the same thing with Tennessee who’s switching to Adidas next month. (They just removed the Nike logo from their unis)
@MillsTwitch Not quite the same because it’s not “sports” related, but I think a lot of these “indie” titles doing so well/getting so much hype are further proof of this. Why play the new AAA title that’s gonna be buggy and incomplete when something like Kingdom Come Deliverance II exists
@USN_TTV@MillsTwitch Yeah the addition of a forecast prior to kickoff is a big plus for me. As a Tennessee fan, I don’t want to do checker neyland in the rain lol. Getting to pick would be icing on the cake though. No more 5 straight rain games in dynasty. Maybe even have a snow game occasionally.
@HaangEmHiigh It’s truly a beautiful experience. Don’t let the beginning of the game deter you! It can start a little slow, but once it opens up it’s incredible.
