@welli69haj Three letters VAT so the exchange rate is currently $1.35 to £1.00 so the $1999 is £1480. As all USA Prices are excluding Tax (as each is dependent on the state) it’s £1480+VAT which is £1777 allows £222 for the warranty and consumer rights costs from EU/UK plus currency changes

@AutoPap @wizbit76 @SimonCarGuy I know this is a controversial opinion but buy a Discovery 5. I have one and had the XC90 T8 on test drive. Genuinely would rather push the Discovery than swap it for XC90. Thought the 3rd Row was cramped, engine was noisy and it pulled all over the road on hard acceleration 🤷‍♂️

@BeansUnofficial @LBC @lewis_goodall Disagree. Look at the sort of people taking Uni Loans. Some of them have no ability or desire to pay it back. No security for the lender no assets and many with no credit records so who would lend to them??

Unemployed people who have no way to pay, some of whom will never pay and some of whom will never pay it all. No assets to levy against nothing. Then you wonder why the loan is expensive 🤣🤣

@RemoaningW @LBC @lewis_goodall Totally agree with you. You deserve a tax rebate for your fees and VAT is disgustingly thinly veiled swipe at families who sacrifice to PAY for their child’s education. Uni fees should have VAT as well if it’s good for private schools it’s good for Universities
