@_paintedblack_@BestOfARSports Also it’s easy to say this with a 1 year of success sample size. Since NIL how many times have any of the 6 you listed made it, or better yet how many times have they made it? If this is your way of justifying not buying into NIL you’re the problem
@ukHOOPstar33 Again I respect the comment although I have to be hopeful that doesn’t happen lol. That’s the thing that kills me the most about a lot of the media though. Granted from an Arkansas fan Kentucky has been a blue blood my whole life so obviously I respect the program.
@lt4kicks The issue with it being unsustainable is more about the fact there are some college athletes making more than professional athletes. Even professional athletes have a maximum cap. The goal is to make it to the pros. Why go pro when you can play 4 years and just follow the $$$
@jjmaples55 Agreed completely but I’m not opposed to even the max contract being the minimum rookie contract in the NBA as long as that is the Max. The talk about CBA but don’t look at the fact that even pro sports have Max contracts and in college there are players making more than pros
@dj45williams Make it to the NBA. For most of these young men it was never about an education. That was just an added benefit. I believe the max contract of a college student should be the bottom dollar in the NBA. I’m all for paying NIL but it needs to be realistic and reasonable.
@dj45williams Then you’re not an adult. You shouldn’t be able to be drafted to the military at 18 or charged as an adult for a crime (that’s not obviously murder or very serious crimes). These are kids making more money than professionals athletes and that’s a problem. The goal is to,.. cont
@OvertimeElite@thekarterknox I hate this I really do. I have enjoyed watching you these past couple of years at Arkansas. You were a big part of the run the razorbacks made in the tourney your freshman year. I understand there are a lot of mouths to feed but I hope everything works out for you.
@CoachCalArk@FirstTake Than an NBA player. The goal as a child is to make it to the NBA. I’m all for paying players but it needs to be within reason. The people wanting multimillion dollar deals is ridiculous and I for one agree that the college landscape is in a bad place
@CoachCalArk@FirstTake Don’t know if you agree or not but I believe the minimum deal in the NBA should be the max deal in college. My reasoning is you play in college to train and prepare for hopefully your chance in the NBA. It’s not guaranteed but for no reason should a college player make more.. con
@CWPorter_1029@aaront1922 I also agree but the issue is the restricted circle and how most of the fouls occur there. It needs to be addressed though for sure
@aaront1922 You forgot the flagrant fouls are high. I mean hell they asses flagrant 2s on bumps so I mean shit how can you play any defense if you can’t even body guard. Not saying that play he was just pointing out how shitty officiating has been. Definitely very biased.
@dekker Nah they just asses flagrant 2 fouls on common fouls and most of the flagrant 1s were worse than the Richmond foul. They don’t have a pair and the NCAA is to scared to address how rigged the officiating is
