I just discovered Google Ngram Viewer, and it is an **invaluable** tool for an Australian trying to write a book which uses the American lexicon. Amazing!

Poverty is a man-made condition — no one deserves to be poor— in fact people are impoverished due to carefully designed systems meant to assist some to accumulate wealth at the expense and exploitation of many. It’s disingenuous to blame poverty on individuals when it’s systemic!

Third morning straight revising and colouring in a scene; this feels like procrastination.

I really need to get more of the story beats onto the page *then* revisit them. Although, as I flesh them out, I do have more to work with in future scenes.
