End of an era. Thank you @GRBAcademy and a huge thank you to @CordioMax for all the growth and development of Mason. We will miss the summer fun and memories that were made. Here’s to the unknown future for Mason.
@CoachShiffman@Hudl Switch to @GameStrat we went from Hudl with nothing but issues to Sportscope with nothing but issues and now switched to Gamestrat and it has been exceptional.
Mason Ladwig (‘26, WI) adds a base knock here. Lean frame. Quick and whippy hands with a LD swing to produce a single. Smooth stroke gets it done. @PG_WiscMinn@GRBRays@PG_Uncommitted#MWFallSelect
Mason Ladwig (‘26, WI) stays direct to it. Connects and drives this one for a line drive single. Pulls one into LF adding a single. Stays through it well and does a job for this. @PG_WiscMinn#MidwestWS
I just received this DM from a young coach, starting out.
He says, “It’s my first-year coaching, and I just wanted to know what your ideal assistant coach looks like.
My answer...
An ideal assistant coach arrives early, helps set up practice, asks the head coach what he needs, actively coaches during practice (doesn't just stand around), stays positive and encouraging, connects with kids off the field, uses love, not fear, to motivate, and ensures the kids know he has their back.
Coaches. Be that kind of coach.
One of the hardest things for a young athlete to learn is putting the team first. Once they set their ego aside for the sake of the team, their future becomes much brighter!
