Games can change lives, especially when young people can see themselves in the industry 💙
Our annual Intro to Gaming Workshop gives young people from underrepresented backgrounds the chance to create games, meet industry professionals, and discover new possibilities.
Huge thanks to RISE at SEGA, The Safety Box CIC, and Coding Black Females for making it happen!

On Friday (January 16), the Jamaican Diaspora in the United Kingdom (UK) delivered humanitarian supplies in support of the country’s recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa.
The shipment of over 135 boxes was received on behalf of the Government and people of Jamaica by State Minister the Honourable Alando Terrelonge and Mr. Marlon Brown, Regional Director @ODPEM. The shipment was facilitated by Mr. Jackson Smith, CEO of Fantasy Wings, with coordination support from a slew of partner organisations, as well as Mr. Nathaniel Peat (@natpeat ), Global Jamaica Diaspora Council Member for the UK and Chair of @jamin_uk , who helped raise more than $3 million in support of recovery efforts, alongside additional in-kind contributions.

Discussions also spanned the coordination and distribution of supplies donated, which are being handled by the @odpem in support of communities that were severely impacted by the hurricane in western Jamaica.
The exchange also explored future areas of collaboration, including fully funded flight-training scholarships for Jamaican youth through Fantasy Wings’ programmes, which would align with national priorities for skills development and long-term growth.

I am truly humbled and deeply honoured to have been positioned as a finalist for the 2026 Community, Corporate & Culture Awards @thecccawards. To be recognised alongside so many incredible individuals who are selflessly shaping culture, serving communities, in the corporate and social space and creating lasting change is a privilege.
This work has never been about personal recognition it has always been about purpose. Once that purpose became clear, the focus shifted into action. For decades, it’s been about showing up consistently, turning vision into impact, and serving something far greater than myself. This is divine purpose.
I want to extend heartfelt congratulations to all my friends, peers, and fellow leaders who have also been positioned as finalists. Your commitment, integrity, and impact I see, you are all lights leading in your fields and it’s powerful to see your work acknowledged on this platform.
I look forward to coming together in March to celebrate not individual achievement, but collective purpose, service, and progress.

Jamaica is hurting. We must respond.
The devastation caused by the recent hurricane has left families shattered, homes destroyed, and lives lost. Nineteen souls gone. Children displaced. Communities broken. And still, the full extent of the damage is unfolding.
I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes mobilising support, coordinating logistics, working on multiple projects, and trying to reach loved ones. My father’s phone is still unreachable. Family, friends and cousins haven’t been heard from in days. It’s been heavy seeing Jamaica’s devestation. It’s been personal. I’ve been receiving calls, WhatsApp’s messages on LinkedIn and on Instagram so many people are hurting. Greatful for the conversations with @kaminajsmith on Friday relating to another relief effort, our Government is trying their best.
But now, I’m asking for your help.
This Saturday, 8 November, we are coming together for a charity fundraising dinner hosted by the Jamaica Basic School Foundation (A Registered Charity 1057624) at the Grand Sapphire Hotel in Croydon. This event is backed by actors you have seen on screen, musicians, VIP guests, and my friend the legendary BBC 1Xtra’s David Rodigan @davidramjamrodigan @charles_venn @theofficialkatb @carolthompson.ct13 @omar_lyefook alongside His Excellency the High Commissioner of Jamaica @jhclondon Alexander Williams.
This isn’t just a dinner. It’s a lifeline.
Funds raised will go directly toward supporting children and families affected by the hurricane. We are working on multiple relief efforts, but this one is close to my heart. Because children matter. Because Jamaica matters.
Tickets are £120.
Please DM me to reserve your place with us or visit the website to book directly. Every ticket is a step toward healing. Every seat filled is a message of love and solidarity.
Let’s show Jamaica that the community stands strong. Let’s show the children that they are not forgotten. Always greatful to the support from @myvmgroup @gracefoodsuk please let band together. The evening will be a special night.
VVIP options also available.
Thank you. Nathaniel Peat, Global Jamaica Diaspora Council Rep UK South.
The U.S. Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) has arrived in Jamaica to coordinate humanitarian support following Hurricane Melissa. @StateDept is working with the Government of Jamaica and local partners to assist those most affected.
