In one instance, I got a client's bill down from Β£100/month to Β£10/year, just by cancelling and consolidating a myriad of different hosting packages and add-ons that they'd accumulated over the years.
I consistently find myself coming back to IONOS as a hosting platform. Solid offerings, cheap prices.
But as I've started to help friends & family out with their sites, I do wonder if their cheap pricing is supplemented by the number of money-making methods they employ...
Over the years they layer on additional charges that appear essential to the untrained eye.
- PHP Extended Support (rather than helping users to upgrade)
- Email 'firewalls' (I don't even know what they're selling half the time)
- Multiple hosting packages (when one would do)

It's crazy to me that WordPress haven't even bothered to change all of the references to ACF in the plugin. Even the help files point to the WP Engine-hosted documentation.
