@NMFish@Shaysh305@vrp2003 Setting off fireworks after your last game ever in the Orange Bowl after getting waxed 48-0 by UVA is the low watermark of the program. The pathetic combination of sadness and embarrassment I felt in that stadium is difficult to describe.
@realmilancurcic @JuliusBusecke The neat (and possibly unique) detail about the French et al. [2007] result is that it was made from a low (piloted) flight through the eyewall of a hurricane. I don't know where that particular Fabian measurement was made, but *six* flights were made at altitudes <100 m. Wow.
@BMcNoldy I like that it’s a percentile-based region (inter-tertile?). But do you think it would be more useful in communicating uncertainty if it were produced from the ensemble runs for each particular storm?
@caro I feel your sentiments re: I-84. But I think that New Haven-style apizza is great enough to make up for the rest of the state’s transportation sins.
