Here's the full chain of events that led to Trump storming out of his interview with Kristin Welker, beginning with her pressing him on the weaponization fund, continuing with her pointing out the baselessness of his "rigged election" lies, and concluding with him calling her "crooked or stupid" and leaving
@MalloryMcMorrow People on the right often talk about wanting more families because they serve society. If they're right, then this kind of policy should be a no-brainer.
@DrWojakMD@adamcarolla This graphic cherry picks competitors and winners since 2010.
World population:
Asian over 50%
Sub-Saharan African about 20%
European / White people about 10%
Middle Eastern / North African under 10%
And the remainder are Hispanic, multi-racial, Indigenous, etc.
@DrWojakMD@adamcarolla These people competed across a decade and many were not winners. Should they not have been eligible to compete in any of the years when they did?
@ChrissySeasons@_gallantny@CraigHerskowitz Regarding having an opinion: Gallant lacked a policy page, but one has been online for a little bit now. He hasn't been in the race as long as Ventouras, so I think that makes sense. Lukas didn't have a website for the first five months of his campaign, let alone a policy page.
@ChrissySeasons@_gallantny@CraigHerskowitz Everyone is entitled to their opinion and vote. I don't know what other position he could be fundraising for, but I take it at face value unless there's a reason to doubt it. I'll be voting Gallant in the primary and voting for whichever Democrat advances in the General.
@WhiteHouse I know the misguidedness speaks for itself here, but I'd like to encourage you to quote tweet rather than just repost things like this to contextualize what this means to you and the district you seek to represent. You've got this! ๐ฉต
@ChrissySeasons@_gallantny@CraigHerskowitz Probably would have been better with an intro, but the video did include both candidates names / sought positions at the end. An @ would have been sufficient, but it seems like more of an oversight than malfeasance... otherwise why even create/post the video in the first place?
Too many people feel like Washington only works for insiders while working families here on Long Island are left behind dealing with rising costs, stagnant wages, and a system that no longer feels accountable to them.
Thatโs why I am proud to stand with the Unrig Washington movement and be supported by End Citizens United in the fight to restore integrity and accountability in Congress.
No corporate PAC money. No insider stock trading. Just real representation focused on the people, not special interests.
Iโm working to bring our voices back to Washington. Accountability matters. Long Island deserves leaders who will put people first again.

Thank you, @ReverendWarnock, for welcoming me to Ebenezer Baptist Church today.
As legislatures across the South seek to draw Black Americans out of power, we gathered this Sunday to steel ourselves for the work ahead.
We will always stand together, and we will not go back.
@j_fishback@elonmusk Doesn't this imply that there's nothing to teaching apart from knowing a topic? Anyone who had a brilliant tutor who was terrible at making things make sense can attest.
I really enjoyed attending this town hall and hearing from the next representative of NY-01.
As a longshot aside, Gallant is very focused on education, so my brain darted to @RaviMGupta. He'd make a fantastic Majority 54 guest. ๐
Great conversations, thoughtful questions, and exactly the kind of dialogue our district deserves!
Thank you to everyone who joined us today at the Port Jefferson Village Center for our town hall. With more than 50 people in attendance, we had a thorough and meaningful exchange of ideas on the issues that matter most to Long Islanders, from affordability and healthcare to public safety and protecting our communities.
This campaign is about listening, engaging, and building real solutions together. Iโm grateful to everyone who took the time to be part of the conversation.
If you couldnโt make it today, there will be many more opportunities to connectโbecause your voice matters.

@nicklalota Lee Zeldin is currently playing dumb about agreeing to allow carcinogens to go into our water after he had a meeting with Bayer about it.
Bruce Blakeman made Nassau less safe by diverting police resources toward enforcing a civil offense and discouraging crime witnesses/victims.
