@channelstv This is a step in the right direction.
However what remains now is ACTION!!!! To back up all these words!!
I pray that those bandits face the full force of the Nigerian Federation with no mercy and absolutely no negotiation. Just Total and complete judgement!!!!!
This is unfortunate. Although there may be a Somalian ban, exceptions should be made. This goes against the whole idea of fair play and the beautiful game.
The underlining purpose of the World Cup is to put down all of our differences and political conflicts and come together, watch and support teams from around the world play the beautiful game.
This should be overturned!!! And the official should be allowed entry!!
The banning of this officer does absolutely nothing and just sends a very bad bad message!!!!
@saintdominik @EkeneAninze And very corrupt. Where often it’s whomever has the most money wins.
But alas…. The unexpected will happen and change the narrative….
Stay tuned!!!

The truth is that this challenge will not disappear until Nigeria makes bold decisions. We must prioritize ensuring transparency in the fuel supply chain, and build long-term energy policies that protect citizens from global price shocks.
Leadership must move beyond temporary reactions and focus on real structural solutions.
Nigeria has the resources. What we need is the commitment to use them in a way that protects the people and strengthens the economy.
Our citizens deserve stability, opportunity, and leadership that puts their welfare first.
*WOMEN’S VOICES MUST NOT BE SILENCED.*
_Statement on Women’s Representation in Public Leadership._
*By Nathan Esiri Osume*
The reported removal of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from Nigeria’s delegation to the UN Women event and her replacement with a male senator is not only worrisome, but deeply troubling and sends the wrong signal at a critical moment for gender inclusion in leadership.
At a time when the global community is strengthening its commitment to women’s participation in governance, Nigeria must not appear to be taking steps backward. Actions such as this risk, undermining the very essence and principles of equality, representation, and fairness that modern democratic societies strive to uphold.
Nigerian women are not spectators in nation-building. They are leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, community builders, and pillars of economic and social progress. Their voices are not optional in national discourse, they are indispensable.
Platforms such as UN Women exist precisely to amplify the perspectives of women and advance conversations on gender equality and inclusive leadership. To sideline a qualified female voice in such a space raises legitimate concerns and calls for serious reflection.
Nigeria must demonstrate, through deliberate and visible actions, that it values the contributions of women in public leadership. The future of our nation cannot be shaped without the equal participation of the women who form a vital part of its strength and resilience.
Women must not merely be acknowledged, they must be represented, respected, and given their rightful place at the decision-making table.
A stronger Nigeria will only emerge when leadership reflects the full diversity, capacity, and brilliance of its people.
Nathan Esiri Osume remains a committed advocate of women’s liberation, inclusion, and dignity in leadership. His passion for equity reflects his deep respect and unwavering support for the women of Delta Central Senatorial District, whose progress he believes is essential to the growth of our society.
A society that empowers its women secures its future and the women of Delta Central will always find a committed ally in Nathan Esiri Osume.
