It never ceases to amaze me how people assume the right to barricade themselves in buildings they don't own...or trample the rights of others while expressing their own.
I've been away from Twitter (X) for a few weeks and decided to take a look. Not surprisingly, Musk hasn't undone any of his stupidity. I just can't think of a reason to use it any more. I hardly missed it, which is telling.
"Caitlin Clark will only make $76.5K in the WNBA." That's still more than the vast majority of college graduates will make right out of college and they don't have endorsement deals to fall back on.
Ohio Republican Bernie Moreno can endorse Trump if he wants to, but saying, "This is a good man. This is a great American," is simply ridiculous. Trump is neither of those things. Good men don't rape, lie and steal. Great Americans endorse democracy.
Kudos to Comcast increasing download speeds without increasing prices. However, the upload speeds, long an issue, remain deplorable. https://t.co/4SofPIlHLg
"Driver Chat: A message from the driver delivering your Amazon packages." I don't need to chat with you. You just need to put the package at my door and we're good.
"Congress is facing a partial government shutdown yet again." This is so ridiculous. This is their most basic function--to keep the government operational--and they can't even do that.
Placing an order with a company should not result in automatic subscription to daily email messages. It should be an opt-in scenario. I abhor this practice, applauding the few companies that do ask for permission to inundate your inbox at checkout.
The idea the Vision Pro will replace the iPad is ludicrous. First, the price delta of more than $3K. Second, battery life--Vision Pro lasts only 2 hrs. Third, do you really want to wear your tablet?
@HackingDave I had a vendor actually show up at my office--an in-person cold call. They asked me if I had seen their emails. "I get email from hundreds of vendors, so no, I don't remember yours."
Biden's mental acuity may be cause for concern, but in terms of moral judgement, he's miles ahead of his chief rival. And let's not forget that rival has had plenty of his own mental lapses. I'll take the one that better ensures democracy survives.
