The Tas Lower House has passed the nation’s first financial redress scheme for those convicted under fmr laws against homosexuality and cross-dressing. This is landmark recognition of the suffering of those convicted for being who they were. The bill now goes to the Upper House.
Great to see @guardiannews treating wage inequality in ADEs as a front page story, & foregrounding the views of workers with intellectual disability.

This brave brave wonderful woman, Kathleen Madwick, found her beautiful beloved 22-year-old son after he had hung himself.
She subsequently sent this email to Stuart Robert, and received no response.
She also wrote to Scott Morrison, and received no response.

It’s excellent @AlboMP is closing tax loopholes for the handful of extremely wealthy individuals who have been using the super system to minimise their tax. Superannuation is for a dignified retirement, not a tax minimisation scheme.
It's disturbing to see the media Seven (Stokes), Nine (Costello), NewsCorp (Murdoch) and even our ABC all outraged over changes to the tax-breaks for millionaires' #superannuation, yet say barely a word about the persecution of the poor by #Robodebt. 😠 #auspol#RobotDebtRC
Accessible info about policy makes the difference between voting, and not being able to. The deadline for parties to apply for Vic's #ICanVote2022 is approaching. @LiberalVictoria and @VictorianLabor should make their policies accessible for every voter 👇
