I am so blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career playing Division 1 softball at Abilene Christian University!
Firstly, I want to thank God for guiding me down the path He intended for me and giving me the opportunity to play for a school that will strengthen me not only as an athlete, student, and woman, but as a follower of Christ.
Thank you to my family. Thank you Mom for being my rock and showing me what it means to be a strong, independent woman, thank you for never doubting me, supporting me through it all and being my best friend. Thank you to my brother and sister for showing me what it looks like to work hard and chase the impossible. Thank you Grandma for always cheering me on through the phone and texting me after every game, you'll never know how much those messages meant to me. Thank you Dad for putting in endless hours finding drills to help me grow, writing me long messages about what to improve and what I did well, reminding me to trust myself, and being not just my lifetime coach, but my best friend as well. And thank you Auntie for all your love and support, though you aren't here in person, I still feel you cheering me on from the best view in the house. Everything I've accomplished and will accomplish is for you. I love and miss you so much.
I have been blessed with many incredible people in my life, but my coaches truly stand out. Thank you Coach Ken, Coach Rosann, Coach Todd, Coach Sean, Coach Bella, Coach Isaac, Marlece, and the entire Bengals organization. I have never been surrounded by so many hardworking people who care for their players like family, and I will forever be grateful to be part of this program. Special thanks to Coach Dee Dee and Coach Angel. From the start of this journey, you both believed in me, pushed me, and supported me in ways I'll never forget. I'm truly thankful to have had you behind me through it all.
Lastly, thank you Coach Koons, Coach Hutcherson, and Coach Hines for giving me this opportunity. I am so excited for what's next. Go Wildcats!! 💜🤍

Day one explained: Our confidence comes from a deeper worth.
We play in freedom because we know where our identity lies.
We are joyful because we are thankful.
We trust the story God has already written.
Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Day One. Today, and everyday.

Day One explained: How we choose to live every day.
Accountable
We own our actions and our effort.
We communicate clearly and honestly.
We live with integrity, even when it’s hard.
Competitive
We are disciplined in our habits.
We are coachable and hungry to grow.
We are tough-mentally, physically, and together.
Uncommon
We play selflessly and serve something bigger than ourselves.
We are faith-filled and grounded in purpose.
Grateful for the opportunity to be a Wildcat every day.
You can’t get to One Day without Day One.
Every day matters.

Every journey starts the same way. Day One.
As the new year approaches, we want to invite you into the foundation of our program.
Over the next few days, we’ll share what Day One means to us. Our standard. What we value. Not just our wins, but our why.
Because you can’t get to one day, without Day One.
