If Bear had pushed Sarah away and completely broken her heart, Sarah would’ve loved him less. In theory, Nikki’s supernatural obsession would’ve eased because she no longer had to “outlove” Sarah.

It wouldn’t have broken the curse, but it might’ve made Nikki a little less obsessive.
