As a recent celiac, please fill out and help label laws label gluten on food and products! I want to not always worry about buying my food at the store wondering if it has gluten or not. Thanks!
hi!! the celiac safety act of 2026 is here! if you are american please fill out this quick form. it will only take a minute of your time and would genuinely change my LIFE if this passes. it will require gluten to be labeled as a major allergen!!

it’s actually just so upsetting how many people view celiac disease/the idea of being gluten free a joke. i promise you i never would’ve chosen this life. nobody would.
@happinessforts I'm biased but Seattle night 1 because the suprise songs that she played were from my top two favorite albums. It felt like she was playing it for me in a way. It was magical!
Having celiac sucks. The constant anxiety of making sure it's gluten free and there wasn't cross contamination is overwhelming. On top of that, having gastritis sucks even more. I have to eat so strict. Ugh.
@smilenoemi It's horrible. I still cry everyday. Harder when I pass by my old favorite restaurants and I can't order food or my husband and son are eating foods in front of me I can never eat again. I just stay home. Don't even want to see people eat carefree.
@smilenoemi Ooo hopefully it is that. Having celiac sucks. Its one of the more manageable autoimmune diseases but it still sucks. I feel like my freedom of eating out has been taken away
@smilenoemi Again you can also be gluten intolerant. I'm dairy intolerant where i can handle certain ways diary is made but I cant drink it or eat it as ice cream. But I can handle it in foods like a gluten free muffin. So you can always be gluten intolerant. But yes, ask your doctor.
@smilenoemi Hm well you can always ask your doctor to run a blood test and see if the numbers come out abnormal if it keeps bothering you everytime you eat gluten. And if the numbers are high then an endoscopy would be required to see of you have damage. Cause you can also be just sensitive
@smilenoemi Do you often feel bad after eating gluten? It doesn't just have to be exclusive to tummy issues. I had nerve and muscle pain in my upper arms like bad that I thought I was having a heart attack. I wasn't. It was celiac.
