Imagine this is how Dak Prescott’s story ends.

Super Bowl. Cowboys vs. Bills.

Dallas down 4. :06 left.

Dak takes the snap from the 12.

Nothing is open.

He steps up and runs.

At the 4-yard line, he gets HIT.

Two Bills defenders wrap him up. Another comes crashing down on top.

Dak keeps his legs moving, but he’s stopped.

Four yards away.

And for a second, it looks like this is really how it ends.

Then CeeDee Lamb hits the pile from behind.

Jake Ferguson joins him.

Tyler Smith.

Terence Steele.

The entire Cowboys offense comes crashing forward.

The pile moves a yard.

Then another.

And suddenly it feels like Dak isn’t being pushed by just the eleven men on the field anymore.

It’s Ezekiel Elliott pushing.

Zack Martin.

Tyron Smith.

DeMarcus Lawrence.

Amari Cooper.

Michael Gallup.

Leighton Vander Esch.

Trevon Diggs.
