"Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.
You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail.

And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.

My son Joe’s dog, Charlie, passed last week. He was 14 years old and still a great guy. This picture of him and my second grandson, Jacob, has been my phone background for the past 10 years, because I love them both very much and also because I don’t know how to change it. BREAKING: HELL YES! The seven Environmental Protection Agency workers who were fired for whistleblowing against Trump hit him with a MASSIVE lawsuit.

This is how you hit him where it hurts...

“One year ago, over a hundred of EPA employees did something extraordinarily brave: they spoke out to defend science, public health, and the EPA’s mission. For that, they were punished. But they are not standing alone,” stated Justin Chen, President of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Council 238, which is representing the workers.

“AFGE Council 238 will keep fighting until every employee is vindicated and every federal worker knows they can exercise their First Amendment rights without fear of retaliation," he added.

The former employees were terminated at the EPA after they signed a letter exposing the White House for undermining the public trust by ignoring fundamental scientific realities to benefit the corporate polluters.

It's a letter that has aged well as Trump has gone increasingly all-in on propping up the fossil fuel industry in payback for helping him seize the Oval Office. Our planet is being sacrificed on the altar of gas and oil profits, but Trump doesn't care because he won't be around long enough to watch the Earth die.

The wrongfully terminated individuals filed two lawsuits, pointing to the blatant violation of their right to free speech under the First Amendment. They're demanding that they be reinstated at the EPA, which would be a major boon for the American people given their demonstrated commitment to science.

“Free speech is one of the foundational values of this country, and it applies to federal employees just like everyone else — we all have the right to express our opinions about government policies,” stated Danny Rosenthal, a partner at James & Hoffman, a firm representing the plaintiffs. “But in this case, the EPA decided that respecting the First Amendment was less important than protecting its thin-skinned leaders from criticism.”

At the end of last month, twenty-two Democratic senators signed a letter to Lee Zeldin, the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, calling for the workers to be reinstated.
