My family and I were the victims of a drunk driver on saturday. They ran a stop sign and hit us while making a left turn. His vehicle struck my 6 year old son's door and spun us around. My wife and I both had seatbelt injuries. My 19 month old had none besides a small scrape. My 6 year old only had an air bag injury. A couple who witnessed the crash jumped in to help us and they were a god send. With the drunk driver sitting in a cell and my family home, safe and sore, I cannot be more grateful for the safety features of the car, and God's will to ensure every single safety feature worked exactly as it was supposed to. I just wanted to tell this story. I don't really know why. Thank you for reading it if you did and I pray your family avoids this situation, or come out even safer than my own family. Stay safe. You're only as safe as the stupidest driver around.

Before fighting, natives were known for one major thing: speaking. Politicians from that time period constantly spoke of tribal leader's abilities to speak and negotiate. This is highlighted in Benjamin Franklin's letters on natives. Charlie Kirk was the epitome of the likes of Chief Joseph, also assassinated. The world is worse without him. Speech, historically, has always lead to the death of those speaking for peace and unity. Charlie Kirk's message was of unity. He understood the meaning of the Bible. He understood Christ sat with those who sin. He wanted to bring everyone to his table. I want all natives to understand, the killing of Charlie Kirk is something our leaders have lived too. This is a time for mourning. Afterwards, we must continue his work to speak with one another even if we don't agree in the end. May he rest in peace, and may his wife and children find strength through their God and community.

@DelusionPosting There are technically other races of natives. This is only because they were accepted into tribes after colonization of settlers. Tribes took their slaves and gave them tribal membership after the slaves were freed. Other races were also give membership. Beyond that, unlikely.

Native here, my reservation voted heavily for trump for an anecdote. There was a huge push for trump by Navajo members. Oklahoma tribes voted overwhelmingly for trump. It seems like you're mostly trying to lump natives into the left as has been done for years. But the stats currently shown are only swing states and probably way closer to 50/50 overall throughout the whole nation.
