@KathrynHindy I think it does because there's so much to get distracted by on Twitter, which definitely encourages irrelevant conversation.

It's counterproductive to learning because it could be used for academic purposes, but it's also easy to get distracted #twitterizingolaf

This is hard to do because instructors are not in control of the site, so students would be free to become distracted #twitterizingolaf
