When Udayanidhi Stalin repeatedly attacks "sanathanam" in Tamil, why is there not more outrage among the highly religious Tamil Hindu population?

I believe it comes down to language.

In Tamil language, the word "sanathanam" (eternal in English) is not in regular use. Most Tamil people do not know this word and I did not know it myself as a child.

On the other hand the word "dharma" (spelled as "dharmam" or "dharumam") is common in Tamil and there is a district named Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu. There is also the word "aram" used in Tamil with the same meaning as dharma.

Interestingly, in Hindi, the word "dharam" means "religion" in general and Hinduism is "hindu dharm" or "sanatan dharam" and Christianity is "isai dharam" in Hindi.

But in Tamil usage, the word "dharmam" would effectively mean "Hindu dharam" in Hindi.

Now if Udayanidhi had attacked "dharmam" in Tamil (which effectively means Hinduism) he would be widely criticised for proclaiming adharmam.

That is why he is picking the word "sanathanam" to attack because that word is not widely known in Tamil.

With all his "sincere" effort, he is making the word known in Tamil too and he has made the already huge anti DMK vote in Tamil Nadu even bigger. The DMK has never won a majority on its own ever, because of that huge strong anti-DMK current. They established that current with their constant attacks on Hindu deities. The AIADMK never did that and they harvested the anti-DMK current well.

Now, in spite of the TVK being the new anti-DMK party and in spite of the AIADMK splitting the anti-DMK vote (see how I worked it!) and in spite of the DMK spending extraordinary amounts of cash, in spite of the DMK having a strong alliance and the TVK having no alliance, the DMK lost the election.

Udayanidhi wants to ensure the DMK would never come back. May the eternal sanatana dharma grant his wish 🙏😉

Bandhu Prakash Pal—an RSS worker and LIC insurance agent from Murshidabad—had filed a complaint regarding the encroachment of government land behind his home for the construction of a place of worship.

One night, Bandhu Prakash, his wife, and their innocent 4-year-old son were brutally murdered with axe blows; their heads were nearly severed.

You will all recall that the three were killed with such savagery that it made humanity itself weep.

The Hindu community staged protests and sit-ins against this heinous act; the Mamata government ruthlessly suppressed these demonstrations while promising to apprehend the killers.

A month later, the Bengal Police held a press conference to announce the arrest of a single individual—a Hindu man—whom they identified as the sole killer of all three victims!

👉 The stated motive for the murder was that the late Bandhu Pal—being an LIC agent—had accepted a premium payment from a client but failed to issue a receipt for it. Enraged by this, the said policyholder allegedly took an axe and—acting #alone—murdered Bandhu Prakash Pal, his wife, and their innocent son.

Curiously, this alleged #lone_killer was never even presented before the public.

We demand that the new BJP government order a fresh investigation into the murders of the late Bandhu Prakash and his entire family.

Furthermore, whoever the actual killers of Bandhu Prakash and his family may be, they must all be sentenced to d€ath.

Shanti Ghosh was born on 22 November 1916 in Kolkata, where her father served as a professor.

Suniti Chowdhury was born on 22 May 1917 in the village of Ibrahimpur in the Tripura District, into a middle-class Hindu family.

Both young women were members of the Jugantar. After the execution of Bhagat Singh, many revolutionaries were deeply shaken and resolved to deliver a powerful blow to British rule. In that mission, Shanti and Suniti stepped forward without hesitation. Both had already received firearms training.

On 14 December 1931, the two students of Faizunnessa Girls’ School in Tripura sought permission to meet British district magistrate C.G.B. Stevens. When asked why, they calmly replied that they wished to discuss a girls’ swimming competition. The moment they came face to face with him, they drew their pistols and fired. Their aim was flawless. Stevens died on the spot, and both girls were immediately arrested.

They had believed they too would earn the gallows like Bhagat Singh, but because they were still minors, the British did not sentence them to death. Instead, they were given transportation for life. Yet during imprisonment, the British showed no mercy because of their age. The torture was brutal, but both endured every hardship with remarkable courage.

The most painful truth is that many chroniclers of India’s freedom struggle barely mentioned these fearless daughters of Bharat, even though their courage was extraordinary.
