Year 10 History pupils have been learning about the causes of the ‘Witch Craze’ of the 1640’s. Pupils completed a double page mind map looking at longer term causes such as superstitions, religious conflict, and witchcraft laws. Well done Year 10! 🧙‍♀️

@RogersHistory I had this at a wedding yesterday. Until I pointed out to the person jibing, that yesterday was day 8 of my summer and the reason I was drinking 0 alcohol peroni was I’ve been on super antibiotics since day 3. 6 weeks to be poorly before rallying for 15!

#JeremyVine as a history teacher, WW2 is a key aspect of our curriculum, not just because we teach the events, but we teach the consequences as well, and our students engage with it brilliantly. Not sure who’s been surveyed here but it isn’t any child my team have ever taught!

@CBealesTeach We give students all the information and get them to work with it, deciding on consequence or significance or importance. Note taking really is reserved for the most basic of things.
