@kcisc “For those who enter late to a medical career” what like the many people similar to myself who did medicine as a second degree, and just got on with it and put the work in instead of looking for a shortcut to cosplay as a doctor 🙄
It is laughable that Ministers are now attempting to bring in anti-union and anti-worker legislation under the false pretence of improving patient safety, when they won't even acknowledge the crisis we are in. #NHSCrisis

@tiffanytmli@AndrewJD @rosieICM @Jenny_Pewsey@MJTB1987 Actually I’ve just found the pdf in an old WhatsApp group but it’s just the above page, can email it to you anyway if it would be helpful?
@tiffanytmli@AndrewJD @rosieICM @Jenny_Pewsey@MJTB1987 Hi, I’ve had a look through my phone, I can’t find the full document I just knew I had a screenshot of the rates in my photos. Not sure if any other old colleagues would have it!
@Disgruntled_SHO @Jenny_Pewsey I feel this is a prime moment for the photos from when the sewage came through the floor of the SAU “doctors office” because it used to be a bathroom 🙃🙃🙃
@estheryoud @rosieICM An all women forensic pathology team sounds incredible 🙌 I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a training job there in 2.5 years time 😂
@BenzimraRuth@hayleymagill You realise that during training people often still work 80+ hours a week? I did regularly in F1/2. I can’t stand this idea that doctors now only ever work a cushy 48 hours and we are all spoiled cause we don’t work 100 hours 🙄🙄
First day as a histopathology trainee done! Too much information to take in, and I’m still waiting for someone to tell me what the catch is 😂 looking forward to the next year of learning and living in Manchester 🔬
🚨 BREAKING: First Minister @NicolaSturgeon Scotland’s independence referendum will be held on the 19th of October 2023.

Thrilled to have accepted an ST1 Histopathology post in Manchester! Massive thanks to @jennagregory488 for her support, also @PathologyHouse@RCPath@pathsoc and many others for hosting great events which helped with my application! I’m finally going to be a pathologist🥰🔬
Love a passive aggressive email during monitoring “reminding” us if we haven’t had a break to “highlight it to senior training colleagues” (in a job with no mid-level trainees) to support us. As if we are actively choosing not to take breaks for no reason 🙄🙄
The BMA’s campaign for “pay uplift” seeks an F1 still being paid £7000 less than a brand-new physician associate. This is the Union for Doctors. Anyone else think they’re misreading the room?
