I have a new lawyer joining my in-house team at Burning Man Project today! This is such an exciting feeling. I’m so relieved to have increased bandwidth on our team and the opportunity to mentor a junior lawyer.

@deadatsin_e It’s nearly impossible to find a suit that fits off the rack. The secret is to find one that’s close enough, and to add alterations into your budget and work your way back from that. A good tailor is worth it and can make a less expensive suit look like a million bucks.

I often give advice to our event operations team at Burning Man Project, which primarily communicates by two-way radio in Black Rock City. So I’ll spend a long time agonizing over how to word an email and the response is just… “copy” or “roger that.” Makes me laugh every time.

@LizCGil Cedar might love going to a groomer as much as Moxie does! It’s important to be able to groom her at home too, but Moxie cries with excitement when she knows we’re exiting the highway to see Sara, her wonderful groomer. A pro might help socialize her to the bathtub.

Moxie and I take a show dog training class on Sunday mornings and she works so hard in the ring. It’s adorable. Our next show is in Fresno in a few weeks and we are going to blow dry her furnishings so well, hairspray her eyebrows just right, and strut our stuff so hard!

We took a car ride with Moxie and ended up in Carson City and my sweet man said let’s just stay the night! And he found a dog friendly hotel and walked Moxie to a local pet store for her food and now we are having Italian food and this is just the best little unplanned getaway!
