Interior Define has been using customer’s payments to try to weather their own financials woes under the guise of supply chain issues and is now just blatantly committing fraud.
@chelbie718@interiordefine Yeah, sorry to tell you, your clients are not going to get it anytime soon. Hundreds if not thousands of orders not delivered and the company seems horribly mismanaged if not about to go bankrupt.

@shataki@chicago3404@JestyMarie@interiordefine I felt the same, I have an excellent ID couch from a few years ago and was regretful I wouldn’t receive this couch. But have to assume that their quality will decline with this clear cash squeeze. They’ll have to cut corners somewhere.
@chicago3404@shataki@JestyMarie@interiordefine I was able to get my full refund and hearing these shenanigans about this form honestly this confirms to me that ID is out to just screw people over. What terrible management.
@sarerosenberg@SosoModels@thezanmiller@interiordefine I got something in stock from Crate and Barrel which I thought was a fine substitute, but I am still wistful of my ID couch! We remodeled our basement and had everything designed around this giant couch, it was killing me to not use the room at all while this dragged on.
Where did @interiordefine go wrong? Opened stores too fast? They just opened in Baltimore but can't manage shipping in 22 weeks. Way more sales this year than I ever noticed before. Yikes...
@chicago3404@jo_elizabeth_@interiordefine Call your credit card bank and explain the situation to get their device. Say you need to dispute. It’s not fraud by their measure. But failure to deliver on promised timeline is grounds for dispute.
@chicago3404@jo_elizabeth_@interiordefine The written confirmation said it’d 10-14 business days for the refund. My credit card said I had to wait for that to lapse before I could dispute. I wrote back saying I’d be disputing the 15th day and I do wonder if I made a difference. I got refunded on day 14. Good luck to you!
@TheAntMan09@interiordefine@Chase Good! Chase was so helpful to me, I called multiple times for guidance, and I think my proving to ID I was about to dispute they rushed my refund. But I never made it to 14 business days after I got the refund notice in writing, so I didn’t need to go through with the dispute.
@meghacleary@interiordefine I’m just really sorry you are going through that. I’m so relieved I got my refund, I think I was on the early side. Now complaints are
blowing up as more delivery windows are missed. I think it will only get worse as more people realize their delays…
