Isn’t there a single Moroccan journalist capable of going on SofaScore, looking through the stats, and noticing that Hakimi averages just 1.8 crosses per game (which btw is a modest number for a fullback, and most of them are from set pieces), with only 31% of them being successful? Why not simply ask coach Ouahbi why he keeps insisting on having a player with such a poor crossing record take so many set pieces?
The progress of Moroccan football is also tied to the progress of its football journalism. The media really needs to raise its standards because, apart from a handful of journalists, most of the questions asked in press conferences are simply pointless. Asking things like, “Are you going to change your dress code?” is not what a press conference is for.
A press conference should be a place where journalists ask challenging, well-informed questions that hold the coach accountable for his decisions and performances in any given match.
Leyenda 🐝🇲🇦
💔 Yassine Bono completamente hundido...

A miserable wretch will never measure up to the greats who respect the sport and their countries. I understand he doesn't feel the colors, he doesn't feel the shirt, but at least show some respect for the millions of Moroccan children who cried inconsolably yesterday. I hope he never plays for the national team again, that he goes and plays for France so he can be close to his friend Mbappé and his PSG teammates. He's crazy about playing with Mbappé in France.
@AchrafHakimi File :
Provoked Canada players by posting a picture of an old match with 2-0, in his social media … putting pressure on our team .. and guess what he fought with the players and cost us a yellow, not talking about giving two wear passes to bono that could’ve resulted in goals against us during that match.
- while Moroccans were very stressed out before matches… he was promoting his social media by participating in podcasts with YouTubers from foreign countries.
- when he lost a penalty against Netherlands, we saw him dancing and having fun, he didn’t even seem to question himself when he was going to cost us an elimination if it wasn’t for Bono saving that last penalty of Netherlands.
- he was playing poorly every corner and free kick, like it’s nobody’s business!! While other teams consider them as potential goals.
- in the end he was laughing at our faces, like we are already honored to have his name in our squad.
PS: not saying this to kick him out of the NT, but we should slap him in the face so he understands that NO ONE IS BIGGER THAN MOROCCO… and that the respect and humbleness he shows in PSG should be doubled in Morocco, because a team can never be loved by its fans as a NATION is to its citizens.
