@IsaiahNorris Outside of watching Hank hit 715- this is literally my second favorite moment in over 50 years of living and dying with Braves baseball. Peña freezing Andy van Slyke in Game 6 in Pittsburgh is #3.
@ExpectedChop He is an amazing athlete that takes horrible routes to the baseball. His speed compensates. Watch him vs Michael Harris and you will see. Glad we got him, but this is an area that he needs to improve in.
@imanmve@BoysGirls13th@OleTimeHardball Way better? Take off your NE Yankee bias and open your eyes. The man is 3rd all time in hits, 1st in clean Homeruns, 1st in RBIs, had 20 consecutive years of 20 homeruns. Throw in a few gold gloves and over 200 stolen bases and you have a top 3 if not the best player of all time.
@wadesworld2112@RhubarbBrown Listened to Skip all my young life and thought is was amazing in the biggest call of his life he called it like his dad would have. Skip copied his Dad’s signature call.
@1967mustangman@Super70sSports I agree about the excellence of Sham, the Belmont to me was the only time I ever saw a horse break the will of another horse.
@WesDurham@Phil_B_Hughes Your ability to not only know all this but pull it out when it happens is unbelievable. If you guys ever want to see a savant when it comes to team nicknames, try and get one by Wes. He knew the Arena League 3 nicknames.
@WesDurham@archerqb16 Today my Bride and I were listening to the home feed of the playoff games and she commented- “I had no idea how good the Falcons guys were until today!” Just wanted to say how thankful we were for you skill and class!!
@WesDurham@archerqb16@AtlantaFalcons@929TheGame You are the best in the business!! You are the perfect combination of expertise and enjoyment of the game. Your memory and knowledge of team nicknames still amazes me. Wish you all the best in 2026.
