Day 6 of building in public 🏋🏽♂️
Sometimes you just have to be productive sitting away from the setup 😂 Had a little time to work on some changes today due to other client work. However, got some things added.
Today I:
- Added exercise detail view where the user will be able to see how to do the workout, similar workouts, etc. (very early stage)
- Fixed the exercise library view. Once real data is implemented it'll look super nice.
- Adjusted the swipe animation on the effort modal
Next few days I'll be focusing on finishing the exercise detail view. Doing some small UI changes. And also fixing the bar chart for the progress view that looks crappy rn.
We move on to day 7 <3
Day 4 of building in public 🏋🏽♂️
I can officially say that I have a fully functional app with dummy data. However, there is still some minor UI changes that need to be done.
Today I:
- Created the logic between creating a routine and the workout showing on the home screen
- Created the complete profile screen
- Fixed an error with supersets only applying to the end of the workout. Now they are able to be placed in any order of the workout.
Next few days I'll continue improving the logic behind the app and some UI changes. Then we can move to the scary stuff: Connecting the backend with Supabase with real data.
Day 2 of building in public 🏋🏽♂️
Had less time to work on the Routines View because of other client work I had to finish.
But I was able to:
- Create the basic functions of the routines view
- Created the form that allows to create a new routine
Tomorrow I'll finish the complete routine flow allowing the users to share their workout routines and edit them. I will also start on the progress/trends screen.
@____Anjoz yeah idk i didn’t love him since day 1 then kinda started to like him and don’t like him anymore , he always has a comment, and cierra can do WAY better
Day 1 of building in public 🏋🏽♂️
I have zero experience coding and launching apps so this should be fun.
Today I:
- Fed cursor they PRD for the basic features of the app
- Added basic Swift rules and documentation to cursor
- Focused on building the main home screen with dummy data for now
- Allows the user to add, delete, and restructure their workout for the day
I'm going to try and build each feature day by day. Tomorrow I'll be focusing on building the Routines screen where they user will be allowed to create their workout routines (weekly, daily, or custom)
