@NESpower So you delayed in hiring hundreds more linemen because you were too cheap to pay their rates but you’re going to end up paying over 1,000 lineman anyway PLUS damages due to delay in power restoration, deaths, burst pipes, lost revenue for businesses etc. aka tax increases for all
@PressenJ40606@NESpower My bf is a union lineman. When he went to work in TX for hurricane beryl in 2024, there were 15,000 lineman called in to work. How did @NESpower think 150 lineman on Day 1 was sufficient? And now we’re being gaslit into thinking just under 1,000 lineman on Day 5 is impressive?
@NickSmith131901@NESpower Thank you for your help with MTE! Are you going through the IBEW or a broker when you heard NES said they have enough resources?
@NESpower You restored power to 4,000 people from 10 pm last night to 7 am? That’s 8 hours and only 4,000 people? CLEARLY the line works need help. You’re overworking them and that’s going to cause injures or worse. This is criminal.
@clarc919@NESpower Thank you for this! At this rate, power will not be restored to the remaining 110,000 people until Day 6, in single digit temps. I’m extremely grateful to the lineman. But 2 things can be true at once—they are the heroes + NES admin is abysmal
@NickSmith131901@Mr_Degen69@NESpower Oh wow, so NES still didn’t reach out to yall for help after being released in NC. What a disaster. Be safe out there!
@NESpower How many lineworkers were “successfully added” to the 700 current workers? Seems conveniently vague. Why were there not 700+ on day 1? Why wait until days 3-4 to add additional crew instead of day 1? We could’ve all had power back by now
@NESpower Major gratitude to linemen! They’re overworked/understaffed because leadership failed them. NES had days of notice & chose not to stage more help. Going into Day 1 with 150 linemen is unacceptable. We’re supposed to be impressed by 700 on Day 3? Gaslighting at its finest
Today SCOTUS affirmed that American workers have a right to make health care decisions with their doctors, not because of a government mandate. I believe health care workers deserve the same consideration & we are looking at our options.
