Keep pressing in. Keep asking questions. Check your diet. Use a chiropractor. Check for tongue ties. Do this until you’ve exhausted all options. Don’t settle if your gut is telling you different.
Trust your mama instinct. It’s there for a reason. Don’t blindly accept the phrase “it’s normal.” In our culture common = normal. Most of the time just because it’s common *does not* mean it’s normal.
The only difference? Me not eating dairy. I don’t find it a coincidence that he has been going stretches of 3-5 days without pooping (he’s exclusively breastfed) on dairy, and within 4 days of being off it, he’s pooped 3 times.
I have been eating minimal dairy, but still eating it. Just recently, it had been 6 days of no pooping with my baby. I decided to completely get off dairy. By the second night, he pooped. The next morning, he pooped again. 2 days later, another poop.
My 4th baby was colicky and gassy. He went days between poops. People told me it’s okay and it’s normal for some breastfeeding babies to have that happen to them. My gut felt like something was off.
Next time someone wants to do something nice for you, let them. By saying no, you’re robbing them of the joy they get from blessing you. God often works through us. Maybe that prayer you’ve been praying will come from God working through someone doing something kind for you.
If all you can do today is surrender your anxieties and overwhelm to the cross, do it. Imagine putting all of those in a box, and leaving it at the cross. Then walk yourself over the bridge into God’s invitation to still waters & peaceful pasture so you can rest in Him.
You can do a lot for your health + wellness by working on 3 key pillars: 1, eliminate toxins in, on, and around your body & home 2, flood your body with nutrients 3, reduce stress. Try actively working on these 3 pillars for 30 days and see what happens.
