Nature Guys ranked #1 Nature Podcast by @feedspotblog 🤯
Huge thanks to our listeners, co-hosts & fellow nature podcasters—we’re so excited to be on this journey with you all! 🙏🏻 🦋🌲🦅🌎
Had an absolutely lovely couple days discussing biodiversity metrics w/ @network4ewn colleagues in NYC!
We managed a water nerd family photo, too 😎💧🐟🦆
@freshwaternerd @SumanJumani @ugarivercenter
@TWDeadDaily@indfnsofplnts NGL we’d be all over it. Plant guru Greg Torres? Ranger educator Gia Giamarinaro? Naturalist extraordinaire @gulothoughts?
Let’s do this 👏
THREAD: Good morning! I’ve been connecting with a lot of new people on Twitter & have been hard at work on this, so I figured it was time for a (re)introduction to my nature blog, Gulo in Nature.

@AhimsaAddiction@GuloThoughts As for the bag worms, they are apparently native but can damage and kill trees. They have natural parasitoids (a type of ichneumon wasp) but can also be treated with bacterial sprays if you’re really concerned… I’ve never seen them in person!
@AhimsaAddiction@GuloThoughts Birds like cedar waxwings and bluebirds often use these trees for both food AND shelter, so there either aren’t many in the area or perhaps they have better options?
Check out @nature_guys newest episode, 'Wood Thrush' feat. Cincy Park's own Gia Giammarinaro.
The wood thrush tends to have a spotted belly or breast & are found all over the world, minus the polar region. They also have a beautiful song.
