On 30th December 1970, Communists had used iron rods to beat up the then VC of Jadavpur University Dr. Gopal Chandra Sen and then stabbed him to death.
Apparently a ‘brave’ comrade had stabbed him from the back. The brave comrade later ran away to America, as his father was a rich doctor.

This memorial will be built in his native village Kedamba.

He sacrificed his life while capturing terrorist Ajmal Kasab alive.

We should not forget that the 26/11 terrorists had IDs with Hindu names.

Ajmal Kasab was given the name 'Sameer Chaudhury', with a red thread tied around his wrist. The plan would have succeeded had all the terrorists been killed.

If Kasab had not been captured alive by Tukaram Omble Ji, 26/11 would have been called 'Hindu Terror'.

On 16th August, 1946, our beloved Kolkata plunged into a horrific abyss of violence and bloodshed, forever etched in our collective memory as "Direct Action Day" and "The Great Calcutta Killings."
This date marks a dark and tragic chapter in our history, where communal hatred was unleashed by the then regime, claiming thousands of innocent lives.

I bow my head in solemn remembrance of all those who perished during those calamitous days. Their suffering and the magnitude of loss must never be forgotten.
