Fireworks have started already. Reverberating around the houses they sound really loud. Likely to be a nightly event now. Pity the local cat and dog population for the next few weeks. #Fireworks
Fireworks have been going off all around for over two hours, suspect there’s another couple of hours to go and it’s not even the 5th Nov yet. Reverberates off walls so sounds even louder. Annoying but must be worse for pet owners with nervous animals. #Fireworks
Woke up to see this and at first wondered what my phone charger, laptop power cable, electric toothbrush was doing over in that corner of the room. Nope. It was a glow worm!! Indoors!
Have you seen one recently?

For those of you with dogs out there, please keep them on lead in longer grassy areas/nature reserves/woodland, as it’s very easy to disturb (and in some cases destroy) bird nests at this time of year. Thank you 🙏
Spotted my first swift of the year out of the office window yesterday and just watching another one flying high. Not sure if they're the residents or just passing through on their way north. #swift#migration
Glorious Spring day at @RSPB Pulborough. Reptile and Amphibian workshop, then a few hours in the hides.
First cuckoo, nightingales and swallow of the year, plus one of @kneppwilding storks feeding.
