Reintroducing tepsin constructs lacking the LIR motif fails to fully rescue ATG9A trafficking. These data suggest roles for tepsin in cargo export at the TGN, delivery of ATG9A-positive vesicles at the cell periphery, and overall maintenance of autophagosome structure. (4/5)
