Thanks to @IndiGo6E for another wonderful journey from check in (assisted by Mr. Rahul Nair) to Touchdown with an exceptional On Time Perf. on flight 6E 5347.
This one’s for all the Indian AvGeeks.🇮🇳✈️
From Kingfisher to Deccan, India’s skies have seen many airlines come and go.
Here’s a thread on all the Indian carriers that no longer fly.. why they rose, how
they fell, and when they disappeared. 🧵
Think for a second, IF the Ethiopian 737 max crash didn’t happen and they didn’t raise a red flag about the MCAS, would Boeing have EVER accepted the fault ?
Now, think of the possibility of uncommanded movement of the FCS on AI171, are we going to wait for another failure to happen and more lives to be lost before Boeing accepts ??
MCAS was rectified with blood, how many more lives do we pay with for the 787 ??

I constantly see people rise in life who are not the smartest, sometimes not even the most diligent. But they are learning machines. They go to bed every night a little wiser than they were that morning. And boy, does that habit help, particularly when you have a long run ahead of you.

Zomato’s @deepigoyal gets ready to bite into aviation in his personal capacity. Backs former Zoman Surobhi Das to launch LAT Aerospace. Goyal is the Non Executive Founder. Sources tell me, company has raised $50 million, of which $20 million is from Goyal. Das says, company aspires to “connect India by air as seamlessly as the railways”.
“Think buses in the sky — affordable, high-frequency, and designed to connect the places the airline industry overlooked. Our aircraft will take off and land in compact “air-stops” — no bigger than a parking lot — built closer to where people actually live. No chaos. No security lines. Just walk in and fly”. Tough business to crack but certainly a broken market ! @CNBCTV18News@CNBCTV18Live #Zomato #Aviation #Aerospace
@vishal1mehra No, I wish, just seen him in insta and news channels and apparently he wants UP to be airline’s base and there’s nothing better than Jewar airport for him so thought would be a great podcast.
Sir thanks to you for providing us IGO story in the most magnificent way, you’ve definitely inspired many minds, but for me, you’ve shown how vast & dynamic this industry is to work for and with years of hardwork & market knowledge one can pursue unimaginable heights of success
Such a wonderful picture from US (& review), given that before I started the @IndiGo6E book research I read 'Nuts' in one go by dawn :)
And now IndiGo co-founder Rakesh Gangwal is exiting & has joined @SouthwestAir board
Thanks Captain Sanskar @nauticalmiless 😇
✈️
@Shreyas61560018@shukla_tarun Southwest is the Indigo of US the best low cost airline, also the owner and founder of Indigo joined Southwest Board of Directors here in US and obviously I forgot to take picture of this book in India with IGO aircraft 😉
Finally finished reading ‘The Sky High’ from @shukla_tarun and definitely I would say it’s a must read for every aviation enthusiast, especially for beginners in this field, to have overall idea from the experience of such legendary aviation professionals
@shukla_tarun Overall the story of airlines painting the skies blue is exemplary in every way possible from training in a hotel’s swimming pool to opening it’s own academy from the owners sitting in the corner seat of ministry meeting to finally ordering wide bodies for Int’l presence.
Each chapter is wonderfully written by @shukla_tarun with intense research,in every aspect possible, personally ‘What Next’ chapter being interesting amongst all, which presents the challenges faced by org. in present days, such as Rakesh Gangwal joining Southwest here in US
